Multiple papules around the corona of the glans penis

A man in his 20s presented with a two year history of numerous painless tiny papules on the glans penis. The number of these non-itchy papules had gradually increased over the first year and then stabilised. The patient was healthy and did not report any history of sexually transmitted infections or high risk sexual behaviour. Physical examination showed multiple pink or white papules 1-3 mm in diameter around the coronal rim of the glans penis (fig 1).
