As part of the Blackrock Healthcare Group, Galway Clinic is a leading 146 bed, state of the art hospital situated on the outskirts of Galway and is an affiliated teaching hospital to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). There is a 4-bed Coronary Care Unit and 8-bed Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit.  We are looking to expand our consultant team to cover increased services.

CONSULTANT ANAESTHETIST

The Clinic is aiming to recruit full-time or part-time Consultants who have completed the appropriate specialist training in Anaesthesia and are on the Specialist Division of the Register of the Medical Council in Ireland, or are eligible to be so.

The primary responsibility will be working as part of a team of Anaesthestists providing patient care within the Galway Clinic’s Theatre, working closely with Consultants across several specialty areas.

GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST WITH A SPECIAL ENDOCRINOLOGY INTEREST/ CONSULTANT ENDOCRINOLOGIST

The Clinic is currently recruiting a full-time or part-time General Internal Medicine Specialist with a special Endocrinology interest to participate in the Medical Consultant on-call rota and/or a Consultant Endocrinologist who has completed the appropriate specialist training and has been or is eligible to be entered on the Specialist Division of the Register of the Medical Council, Ireland. The Clinic is looking for applicants seeking to establish an independent practice whilst also providing consultation services for patients presenting with endocrinological disorders.
