UK food poverty could contravene UN human rights

    The wellbeing of children in the United Kingdom may gradually be improving overall, but the gap between those who are better off and those who are poor is widening, reports a study from Save the Children.

    While some measures of deprivation and ill health, such as child poverty, infant mortality, teenage conception rates, and youth suicide rates, are falling, others have risen.
